55 Women and Girls Launch a New Path for Community Participation in Beitin

A community meeting brought together 55 women and girls to review the work of Beitin Women’s Association, renew its organizational framework, and establish specialized committees in education, mental health, culture, and economic empowerment.

Beitin hosted a vibrant community meeting attended by 55 women and girls to review the journey of Beitin Women’s Association and renew its organizational framework, with the continued support and partnership of Beitin Village Council. The meeting marked a new beginning for strengthening women’s and young women’s participation in community work and active citizenship. It also highlighted the importance of drawing on their skills, ideas, and experiences to develop initiatives that respond to the village’s needs and create a lasting impact. Beitin Village Council and Beitin Women’s Association extend an open invitation to all women and young women in the village—especially those who were unable to attend the meeting—to join these committees and take an active role in serving the community. Women’s participation is a fundamental pillar of a strong and cohesive community. Beitin grows through the contributions, ideas, and initiatives of its women and young women.
