Agricultural Committee Discusses Support for Beitin Farmers

A coordination meeting with the Agriculture Directorate to discuss agricultural roads, water sources, projects, land protection, and transforming farmers’ needs into practical programs.

As part of following up on the council's vision for developing the agricultural sector, an Agricultural Committee delegation represented by Mr. Ali Hamed and Dr. Fadi Abu Mweis visited Eng. Dhafer Al-Hamshari, Director General of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Agriculture Directorate. The delegation presented the Beitin Agricultural Committee's work plan and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in support of farmers and the village's agricultural sector. The delegation also discussed the main challenges facing farmers, foremost among them rehabilitating agricultural roads, providing water sources, supporting agricultural projects, preserving the land, and strengthening the resilience of landowners. Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between the village council and the Agriculture Directorate to turn farmers' needs into practical programs and projects that advance agricultural development and serve the people of Beitin.
