An awareness seminar organized by Beitin Women’s Association under the patronage of Beitin Village Council, focusing on mothers’ role in protecting their children from online risks and cybercrime and promoting safe, responsible technology use.
Recognizing that protecting children is a shared responsibility and that awareness is the first line of defense against technology-related risks, Beitin Women’s Association organized an awareness seminar on mothers’ role in protecting their children from online dangers and cybercrime. The seminar addressed the principal risks children and adolescents may face while using the internet and digital platforms, ways to respond to and prevent their harmful effects, and the importance of parental guidance, mutual trust, and open communication. The seminar was held under the patronage of Beitin Village Council, reaffirming the importance of community partnership in raising awareness, strengthening the family’s role in protecting children, and responding to the challenges created by technology in a rapidly changing world. Protecting children does not begin by preventing them from using technology. It begins by raising their awareness, building trust, and teaching them to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. Beitin Village Council extends its sincere appreciation to Beitin Women’s Association for this valuable initiative and to everyone who contributed to organizing and delivering the seminar. An informed community is better equipped to protect its children and help shape their future. Beitin Village Council… People First, and Awareness as the Foundation of Community Development.
