Important Notice Regarding a Change in Land-Use Classification in Beitin

Owners of the 73 land parcels located within the area covered by the proposed zoning amendment are invited to review the notice and submit any objections electronically or in writing by 30 September 2026.

Beitin Village Council calls upon residents, particularly owners of land plots located within the area identified in the official notice, to review the proposed change in land-use classification and determine whether their properties are affected. The notice was issued by the Regional Planning and Building Committee in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate regarding the deposit for public inspection of Detailed Zoning Amendment Plan No. (2023/30/1525), registered under GeoMolg Transaction No. (8800). The proposed amendment seeks to change the land-use classification from Residential Zone (B) to Rural Residential Zone for the following 73 parcels in Basin No. (1) of Beitin lands: 5, 6, 7, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 322, 325, 333, 334, 355, 360, 361, 362, 363, 384, 385, 387, 388, and 392. Any owner of a plot located within the specified area who wishes to object may submit an objection through one of the following methods: Electronically through the complaints and objections platform on Beitin’s official website. By submitting a written objection to Beitin Village Council during official working hours. The Council will receive objections from 22 September 2026 through 30 September 2026. Under Articles 20, 21, and 26 of the Towns, Villages and Buildings Planning Law No. 79 of 1966, any person, public authority, official institution, or private entity with a legitimate interest may submit comments or objections concerning the proposed plan. The official notice states that objections must be addressed to the Head of the Regional Planning and Building Committee within 30 days from the date on which the deposit notice is published in two local newspapers. Where possible, objections or comments should be supported by explanatory plans and relevant documentary evidence. Residents are advised to review the official notice carefully and submit any objection within the applicable period. Beitin Village Council
