Mohammad Hamed is a Palestinian economist holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Economics from Birzeit University. He serves as the Director of the Budget Development and Financial Programming Department at the Ministry of Finance and Planning. He has extensive experience in public budgeting, economic and financial analysis, and public financial management reform, in addition to contributing to the development of financial systems and the formulation of economic policies and reports. He previously served as a Teaching Assistant at Birzeit University and participated in several international programs and initiatives, including the Erasmus+ academic exchange program at the University of Potsdam, Germany. His career combines strong academic and professional expertise, with a particular interest in public economics, financial governance, digital transformation, and community service.
